For my final project I want to do a video poem about ballet where it starts with a music box and a ballerina is spinning around. She symbolizes the unattainable perfection. It will explain the mind games that the culture of ballet plays with girls. It will show my experience from when I was little until now.

Great- As we discussed, you have powerful material for this. I'd love to see what some of the words look like soon. Don't wait until you finish the pictures, as it's a great opportunity to work back and forth between image and word. I'd also like you to collect a group of your other poems from the term- say, 10ish? and work them into a final form an turn them in w/o making a chapbook. Just printed on separate sheets of paper.
